Mary Fortner

Hello, My name is Mary Fortner. I am a student-athlete in the Class of 2027. I play softball for Marist High School in Chicago and for the Beverly Bandits 16U Moran/Lewis Team. I love to compete and will do anything I can to help my team from playing SS, 2nd, or 3rd (67 mph overhand throwing velo) to hitting for power and average and to be a great teammate every step of the way. After high school, my goal is to continue to compete as a student-athlete at the highest level both athletically and academically in college. I currently have a 4.98 GPA (out of 4.0) in my honors and AP classes. I love to volunteer for Special Olympics and coach young girls in softball to give back to the game I love so much.
