Macie Spenny, a dynamic 2027 graduate from West Aurora High School, is making waves in the softball world as a versatile catcher and middle infielder. At just years old, Macie showcases maturity and skill beyond her years, earning her a coveted spot on her high school varsity team the first 2 years.

Standing at 5'3", Macie's compact frame belies her explosive power and agility on the field. Her right-handed batting and throwing abilities make her a formidable presence both at the plate and behind it. As a primary catcher, Macie exhibits excellent game-calling skills, quick reflexes, and a strong arm that keeps base runners honest. Her ability to seamlessly transition to shortstop demonstrates her athletic versatility and deep understanding of the game.

Playing for the renowned Wasco Diamonds organization over 8 years, Macie has honed her skills against top-tier competition. Her dedication to improvement is evident in her consistent performance, through her hardwork and dedication.

Off the field, Macie maintains a rigorous academic schedule, balancing her studies with her athletic commitments. Her ability to excel both in the classroom and on the diamond speaks volumes about her work ethic and time management skills.

Macie has spent the last couple years on a committee for a local, youth non-profit, philanthropy group called “Youth Engagement in Philanthropy” (YEP), a program sponsored by the Fox Valley Community Foundation. She also loves to volunteer at Feed My Starving Children and the Northern Illinois Food Bank, as well as donate to local the Angel Trees and Operation Christmas Child (Samaritan's Purse) around the Holiday Season.
